I think the people that fake being revolted by cigarettes are disgusting. I don't care what people do really.. Smoking is like a mini vacation for some people. They are well aware of the risks, addicted or not. I can't be a pompous ass when it comes to this sort of thing.. It isn't political, it isn't debatable, it's their personal choice. If you are bothered by the smoke, ask them to move. They are humans and will show the same courtesy you show them.

I have never smoked and never will do. I think I was put of by the fact that my Dad had to have major heart surgery due to smoking. I don't think it looks cool and it certaintly doesn't smell nice. But if some one wants to smoke, it's up to them and they know the risks.

I smoke, and even before i smoked i never minded people smoking around me. I've never smoked around people who dont like it because i don't see why they should have to put up with it. I'm happy to say that i wish i never started smoking in the first place and i definitly intend on quitting soon.

i hate that non-smoker attitude, like they're immortal just because they don't smoke. they'll go to a doctor all sick and damn near-dying and the doctors will say, "shit! if only he had smoked, we'd have the technology to save him now!" ha ha!

As a good liberal, people who get sanctimonious about smoking bug me. I just can't understand people who devote such a huge portion of their energy to other people's business. You're no better than the pricks who think what we do in our bedrooms is their business. Naturally, people shouldn't be forced to breathe in other people's smoke, and if it's bothering you, you then tell the smoker, and nine times out of ten, they'll very politely move away. That, then, is your cue to walk away as well; not to follow them with a lecture I promise you their mother has already given them, and which they dismissed coming from her. When you give it, you sound like a pompous prick.

Civilized people either smoke, or don't make a big deal about it when others do. Politically correct barbarians and the generally obnoxious, give the health speech, or write things like this.

How long has the smoking debate been going on? Forever probably. Instead of arguing about smoking vs Non-smoking, I'll tell you that I hate ROLLIES! They're so goddamn hard to smoke, and so flimsy. I hate it. Give me a good pack of Lucky Strikes anyday over a goddamn rollie.
