This is a really interesting subject and I believe that you have already mentioned some very important points. Sexuality, and sexual interest are very relative areas, and I believe tha they are still not very clear yet as studying them is very difficult. A very simple example would be the "is a child born gay/bi?"? Hard to tell, because we start developing our sexuality years after birth. Therefore, we can assume that genetics and social interactions are two possible determinative sources of the sexuality.

I for one can't tell at the moment that I have any interest in girls. I mean... I never think I did. Since I started to develop these kind of interests, I've dimly been attracted to guys... feeling which started to grow in time. It's difficult to tell whether things will change, whether my sexuality will develop to bisexuality in the future, or str8ness or wurever. I personally hope not... I'm content with how I am! I wouldn't change the fact that I'm gay anymore! Months ago I would've done anything for this... but now, I'm very happy with the way I am!

As for the subject "advantages of bisexuality"... There are advantages of course. Being able to jump over the barriers of "men" or "women" preferences is wonderful. But we should keep in mind that the discriminative factor still exists (like the examples mentioned above my post). And also... there are persons who might consider a bisexual person less faithful. I don't say this is a good reason, but the reticence exists.

Anyway... these are my thoughts.

As a Bi-sexual i also cringe when people label me as simply gay and not willing to admit or, or worse, start sayin that i really am straight and will eventually realise it. On the whole, i find most girls attractive, but when it comes to guys i am extremely picky with looks. It may be very shallow, but i basically have no attraction for over 90% of guys i see, i might aswell be straight when looking at them. However when i do see some guy who i think is really hot, the attraction is generally stronger than for girls. So its kind of all or nothing when it comes to guys for me. Again that may sound shallow but thats just the way it is for me. I'm not sayin its the same for all Bi-sexuals. As for promiscuity, all I can say is, I wish.

I was going to write my own reply, but this one is pretty much exactly what I'd say. The only difference is that I never get labelled as 'gay'. For some reason, most people don't believe someone who listens to Bolt Thrower and loves footie and rugby can possibly be gay.

nO Way....
Why you use this word...tart... my god
no! i think everybody have bi complex, just some trend to straight, some opposite.
yes i know, even me have a G friend who think bi is tart. He broke up with his xBF becoz tat man is goin to merried. he think love is one of things tat can not be shared. but in my words, the point is if the love is true and genuine, if he or shi can enough take care of it, if he or she can complet these, even they is bi, wats d problem?
and tats even better than some un-bios(you know wat i mean? Gs or St8ts) have more than one mate in one time and keep on saying 'i love you forever, you are my only baby' which is cheat the emotion, the love , they must be tart.

Well, BI-sexuality is a very sensitive subject because its tough to understand and etc. I used to think i was BI, but i just kinda knew which way i was leaning, from day 1. It was kinda my crutch. Lots of people do say their bi, and lots of people don't believe in being BI. . Its tough to tell who really is.. that's a tough cookie

you know what d3licious, i agree on your opinion because I have done it when I have been questioned. i also say that because gays are often thought to want to be women and get sex change. that is not the case for the whole population. However, if a girl came along that I felt really attracted and connected with, I would "try" to change. I probably couldn't but i would give effort. That is why I consider myself bi.

I identify so much more with guys, but I can't rule out girls... While I would be much more likely to go out with a guy, if this girl is amazing, then who knows?

I had labelled myself Bi, but I changed it to gay, because I much prefer guys!

There is no, "most natural", there is no. "most pure". You like what you like, and what your loins specifically point to is beyond your control; how can we put a level of "natural" or "pure" upon that, when pursuit of these feelings is done in an all-consenting way? We can't. Come on, you guys know that. In addition, the sexuality scale to which many of you are referring is the "Kinsey Scale". Not "Kingsley", please look it up and get your facts straight (no pun intended). Its really not up for proper discussion. Non-bisexual people labeling and stereotyping bisexual people is equally as stupid as the identified "straight" U.S. majority voting on gay-marriage. What we have here is a debate over a relative concept, truly only as valid as a debate would be over whether or not the colour purple has a specific smell and texture. It simply doesn't make sense, so do stop this false paradox, please.

I have to agree with Zeigy. Dr. Kinsey believed that we are all bisexual, just most of us are predominantly attracted to one gender or the other. And I even though I am gay, I am really disgusted when ppl say that bisexuals are simply "young and confused"

Re:??Bisexual = Tart?? 1 Year, 4 Months ago
Ok, well I am bi. For definate, but I wanted to put my individual view across about the fact that I think sexuality is sort of on a % scale, because with me being bisexual everyone just assumes that I am equally attracted to both sexes, well I'm not. Each sex has it's own individual qualities, I am only attracted to certain people of each sex, I am more attracted to guys because of the fact they're like me and it's easier to talk about things as it doesn't have to go into great depth. But how ever, I am attracted to females because they are the repoducers, not that with the current population of the world many people need to repoduce anymore.. As for any sexuality being 'purer' well that's just a load of bullcrap, wether pansexual, bi sexual, gay or straight. You're not any better or purer, it's just preference, I have also debated that sexuality is a choice, but it's a subconcious choice that is made when you're going through puberty. I am not saying this is fact, but it's my opinon and because of the brains complex ability it is very dificult to prove I am right, or even that I am wrong.

For those who don't know; Pansexual is people who're attracted to all sexes, even cross gender. Bisexual is people who're attracted to both male and female. And I am pretty sure we all know what gay and straight is.

I also think that sluts can be of any sexuality, bisexuals are no more slutty then any other sexuality, I prefair love and relationship to one night stands or casual sex with a friend. Some other bisexuals might prefair sex with either gender often, but some straight men/women might prefair love/relationship with the oposite sex, where as some straight men/women might prefair frequent sex with the oposite gender. And it's the same for gay's and pansexuals, it's all part of making us individual and no one should be stereotyped.
