I think bisexuality is just another orientation along with gay, straight, pansexual, asexual, transexual(though that's more than just a sexual orientation).

I've always thought being bi means you can be attracted to anyone, regardless of their gender, but you probably won't be attracted to everyone just like being straight doesn't mean you fancy everyone of the opposite sex!

In response to Fakename's comment, I've noticed that being bi seems to be a fashion statement amongst younger teens atm, especially emos.

I get caught between the whole am I bi or am I gay thing... gets v confusing when you're trying to pigeon hole yourself.

Haha, what's that joke about a gay cruise, and you could tell which were the bisexuals because they were constantly up and down at the buffet (stems from "bi's are greedy bastards&quot.

Anyway, i find nothing wrong with bisexuals, as long as they ARE bisexuals; i do have a thing about people calling themselves bi because it's a) become a fad for some reason , and b) because although they have no real feelings for other guys/gals, they still want to get off with them.

So yeah, fakes i hate, but realy bisexuals i don't mind in the least, in fact real bi's get too hard a time because of the amount of fake bi's.

In my opinion, it's all about love and attraction. I think that a bi person can be attracted to both genders, but ussually has a preferance whether they like guys or girls. I don't have any problems with bi guys, I don't see problems with dating bi guys, but I'll be more catious about dating them because their pool of people they are attracted to is much bigger.

I am Bisexual. It's definately hard to deal with some people because they are so discrimitive. I hate the kind of people that are "FAKE" because then that puts doubts in other peoples minds. It's just flat out rude. Now I understand that some people are stuck in the middle...been there. But two years ago I realized that I was Bi. I have dated guys and girls; sometimes I preffer guys. But at that note, people just think i'm a slut. Well they're wrong. I only go out with the people I care about, which I might add is not a lot.

I just want people to understand that being Bisexual doesn't mean you're some kind of abnormal freak. They are still people, just a little bit different. Besides, the world would be boring with out difference.

Re:??Bisexual = Tart?? 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Maybe I assume too much good in people, but just by REALLY thinking about it, I believe Bisexuals would be a lot less of a tart then anyone else. In my opinion, somone that is bisexual is either doing one of to things. 1. Taking what they can get, being shallow, and/or just wanting attention, that would make them a tart... or 2. Looking past physcial attributes and being as pure as any human can be.

I'd like to assume everyone is 2, but it's hard, espcially with how desperate for attention some people are. Being fake is the worst attribute anyone can be in my opinon, but there is a difference in being fake, and being ready to be open about how you feel. Sometimes being fake is a good thing, something to help you prepare to come out, but that's another topic.

So in the end, I would look up to anyone that is bisexual more then look at them as tarts. When it comes down to it, being openly bisexual (In my opinion) takes more courage then being outright gay. Not only battling harsh stereotypes, but also harsh assumptions (such as bisexuls=tarts theory). I may have labeled myself on this site as gay, but I'm not sure. I'm not out of the closet. Im in a relationship with a guy, but I've never felt so much for one person before, it makes me wonder that maybe my feelings will just travel from person to person, reguardless of sex. I'm not sure, but I don't feel attracted to anyone physically other then the one guy that I have feelings for right now. What does that make me? Not sure....

In my opinion gay in all colors of the rainbow are stereotyped just for being of a different mind than the general consensus. Also, I think it's unfair that they get the heat for, "sleeping around," especially when it's just another generalization that is heaped upon gays. I agree with you on one thing, however, that they are probably the "purest" form of human sexuality due to their muti-faceted sex drives.

OK,I am bi. And real quick…I wanted to say that I hate it when people disregard me saying I am bi and just say ‘gay’. Anywho, the reason THAT I AM bi is because there are many qualities, both inside and outside of both guys and gals that I find attractive. The way a boy will cuddle all the time, and his emotions. The way how a girl acts so smooth and beautiful. There are many qualities of both that are attractive. You can say we are confused, but isn’t everyone?
