Death would be my favorite band, though i'm sure most of you don't know them.
If you must know, they were a gory death metal band for two albums, and then Chuck the singer/guitarist starting writing lyrics about reality to help people deal with it.
They then turned into technical death metal , and spoke out against things like those who cause others pain for insecurities, and how people have enslaved themselves into a cage of advanced observalence by the government untill privacy is erased, and human emotions begin to turn machine-like as this progresses... and writing all this while maintaining careful and intelligent lyrics.

anyways i'm mostly into Death metal, power metal, and black metal... stuff like Bathory, Harvist, Bolt Thrower, Amon Amarth, Black Witchery, Ceremonial Castings, Blind Guardian, Vader, Helloween, Derdia, etc...

I love punk! Green Day and AFI are awesome.. But my favorite bands have to be HIM, The Rasmus and My Chemical Romance.. I like a lot of Finnish bands too.

This is a hard one. Sarah Brightman and Linkin Park are at the top of my list (i know. Oposite parts of the spectrum). Michelle Branch, Theory of a Dead Man, Nickelback, Feist, and enya are also there. I have a large taste for music, so this isn't the complete list, but this is some of the basic ones.

I like all types of music so I have favourite band/artist for each type of music But my favourite artist of all time has to be the one and only Barbra Streisand. She’s amazing.

My fav band is Mudhoney, the Grunge outsiders of the late 80's/early 90's although still very much alive and going after 20 years They're punk spirit and the whole ethos of 'let everything go to hell, take a chill pill and enjoy yourself no matter how fcuked up life is' is what I live by (most of the time lol). I'm sorry love, but those bands aren't punk =) Punk is bands like Aus-Rotten, The Exploited, Misfits, DIY, DOA, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Nausea, The Adicts, etc...
