I've never really thought about the subject, as it doesn't really affect me at the moment..but we should be able to have the same benefits as married couples do. Just because we're gay doesn't mean we're any less human, so we should have the same rights as anyone else.

Sooo..

Mikey = Pro Gay Marriage

How could I be against something gay?

If someone loves someone else, they should have have equal marriage rights...same sex couples or not.

It's discrimination...

Oh, and George "Dubya" Bush, can go screw himself

Offcourse gay marriage should be possible
I don't know if I would do myself tho. I always liked the thought of a marriage, but that was with girls with nice dresses lol, we won't have that at a gay marriage. If I do, I want it to be special still.
A gay couple I know are gonna marry soon, but only both their parents are allowed to be there and they are married within 5 minutes and thats it, also no party or something, I find that a bad marriage which I would not want .

I'm fine with Civil Partnerships, though I wouldn't mind being able to call it marrage.

Also, if any of you in countries where it's illegal want to get married, invest in a property in Spain and see if you can a partner who has, too. They allow gay couples full marrages there, so long as one has Spanish citizenship or both partners own propery in Spain.

hehe Kanea + Spain is a nice country to own a property in haha . (oooh the weather.. oooh the beaches )
There many countries which allow gay marriage, but now I think of it, for like in Holland, I think you need to have our nationality, atleast one of the 2, this Spain than sounds attractive .

Honestly, I think that if a man and woman can get marry and promise to love each other til death and then divorce two years later, why not let two guys or two girls marry that actually love each other. Stupid Christian morals in the US Government, thought there was a separation of church and state.

I think that everyone should be able to do the same things as everyone else. I personally would rather get a civil union with all the same rights as a marriage. But this is because I really dislike organized religion and wouldn't something that has to do with organized religion tying the knot between me and the one I love.

In conclusion... everyone should have equal rights, no matter what.

Re:Views on Gay Marriage 1 Year, 8 Months ago
i believe that the govt should legalize gay marriage in all states b/c in the constitution it gives everyone the right to choose their own religion so why force the values and ideas of one religion upon the entire population. marriage should be about love. simple as that. i found this on the web and i thought it was cool

Top ten reasons why gay marriage will destroy American society

10. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

9. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

8. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets b/c a dog has a legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

7. Straight marriage has been around a long time and has not changed at all; women are still property, blacks can't marry whites, and divorce is still illeagal.

6. Straight marriages will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spear's 55 hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

5. Straight marriages are valid b/c they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people should not be allowed to marry b/c our orphanages are not full yet, and the world needs more children.

4. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

3. Gay marriage is not supported by religion, in a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That is why we only have one religion in America.

2. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That is why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

1. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to social norms. Just like we have not adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
