I personally don't think that age really matters unless like stated above its like an 11 year old and a 50 year old. It all depends on maturirty levels. Which was stated above as well, lol

whoever said to halve your age and add seven...so I can't go out with anybody younger than me (I'm 14), but my dad can go out with a 37 year old? Okaaay...

As your probably well-embarrassed boyfriend pointed out, your relationship is supposed to be based on your own feelings for each other instead of your idea of what people may think of it in spite of your 4-year age difference.

If you need us to confirm the validity of your relationship, it's not your relationship.

I had my first gay experience when I was 6 too. Just messing around, and stuff, not like we knew what we were doing.
I was having sex when I was 13, and around that seems like a fine age to me. Not that it is the most important thing in the world or anything.

The age gap really just depends on how y'all feel and how mature y'all are in the situation.

well at this moment i am dating an older guy than me, he's 20 , i'm 15. i just think that... when love is really on its powerful side and when love can make everything possible, even those impossible things... then.. nothing matters. not even age not even sex not even.. anything! I'll just try my best to make my boyfriend the happiest man on earth, well of course after me cuz HE makes me the HAPPIEST man on earth i'm like the FIRST he would be like the SECOND one lol =)

I personally think age does matter for gay teenagers as pickings can be slim. That is not to say that it is ok for a 19 year old to date a 12 year old though. just that three or four years shouldn't really matter.

I think any age is acceptable - if it is reasonable of course and by that I mean a 18 year old dating someone who is 7 . If both people understand the situation and the consequences and are mature enough to meet them head on and be sensible then I really see nothing to complain about. Age is just a number as many people have stated, you could very well have a twelve year old who has greater understanding and maturity then a bluddy sixteen year old.
