Quarter to seven on a Thursday evening, single and watching telly. I'm sat next to a little bottle with a kitty and a lady on the label, the title, "cream cutie". It tastes like Baileys with a little added orange, but it tastes a little stronger even though there's barely a difference in percentages. It's a lovely liqueur; 'chocolate, orange, cream', or so it says in Cadburies-coloured writing. It's really quite lovely, but a little bottle (187ml) cost me upwards of £2.50.
When I'm out and about, I'll drink almost anything except beer and larger (strangely enough, cidar I'll drink). Recently I've been drinking more cidar and black, but I drink the usual alcopops and whiskey and coke (either Jack Daniels or Southern Comfort, please). I'll give anything a go once, and usually I'll bloody drink it!
Whats stereotypical for gay people to drink? Are there stereotypical drinks for different stereotypes in the gay community? My friend is a lesbian (like myself), but she's short and of a bigger figure, with piercings, tattoos and very short hair - DYKE! I love her, but she fits into the butch category far too easily. She mainly drinks real ale.
And what are your favourite drinks?? Got any suggestions? I haven't tried everything in the world, what's nice? Or buzzy?
Ok im gunna play the stereotypes here but my fav drink of all time is malibu and coke - mym8s call its a grls drink but meh ... its yummy!!
I hate beer/ larger... tastes like pee pee. I luv whiskey - mainly single malt but any kind will do really. Alcopops are yummy too. Vodka = ew. Lambrini we love. Anywho there we go... i luv my girly drinks lol.
Well I dunno about stereotypical drinks. Mabye Cosmos for fruity men and pints of stout for butch lesbians . I work in a bar and I havent noticed any particular differences between gay guys/girls drinks and straight ones. I usually drink Surfer's on Acid on my nights out.
1 or 2 shots Malibu
1 or 2 shots Jagermeister
1 small bottle of pineaplle juice.
Serve in a pint glass with ice. Shaking is optional.
Baileys is the only alcohol I've drank for ages. I don't really make it a rule to never drink, but I rarely have a reason to. I just don't see the point, and I've had enough of the 'bad' moments.
The best liquer I've ever tasted was in Wales. It was called O'tooleys... I think. I haven't been able to find it here in the land of Oz, which bugs me.
