Okay, i have a problem. There is this friend of mine. I think i love him but the only problem is, he's straight. Now, this really wasn't a problem, until that is, he found out about me liking him. Now he's acting like a total ass. See, i wrote him a letter telling him about the problems i've been having lately. Just things that i'm stressed about. He jumped to conclusions and found out i like him.

Then, he showed the letter i wrote in confidence to him, to the one guy in the school that i hate. I went home, cried, fell asleep, woke up, cried some more, the fell asleep again, woke up the next morning, then cried in the shower. Then i got to school, cried in second period, texted my sister, cried again, then went to lunch and cried into her shoulder. Now i'm in sixth period crying some more. Now i havent cried this much since my grandma died.

Now i have two things i need advice with. One; should i hear him out and see what he has to say? Two; do i love him. That is the one thing that has gone through my head a lot. Do i love him?

I think that by being able to answer the second question you may know what to do about the first. You are the only one that can really answer how you feel about him.

Would it be a good idea to talk to him about it? My view is that it can help resolve some things, but given teh state you are in now I doubt it would be effective yet. I would think he's not worth your love since he is not trustworthy, but that isn't worth much because emotions aren't logical. When you figure out how you feel it would help to find out why he did it though, that is if he would talk.

ok, this is ALL personal opinion and I do not know your friend (or for that matter your situation or yourself).
I do not think that you love him. Love has to be mutual, and if he loved you then he would have not told anyone about your letter.
I would hear him out, but remember that he may not know how to handle the fact that you like him and that he hasnt been the greatest friend so far regarding this.

as for your first question, i think you should hear him out. but whether you love him or not is something only you can decide.

Okay, some new information has come to light. We haven't really talked about ti but he's okay with it. I am still mad at him but i forgave him. Utill yesterday. I thought maybe he had just showed the letter out of a brief laspse of judgement.

Yesterday however, he told his best friends biggest secret. Seel his best friend is Bi. Thomas (his best friend) only told Julian (the ass in question). He trusted him enough with his biggest, darkest secret. Now, i don't know about the rest of you but that was the hardest thing to ever tell anyone. It took me so muuch courage in order to tell my best friend. Luckily, my best friend was trust worthy and didnt tell anyone, until i told her though that is.

Now, i plan on confronting Julian about it today and unless there is a damn good reason, i'm telling Thomas as well. I think what i was feeling was close to love but not exactly love. He is one of my best friends, but after today, we will see if that lasts.

By the time anyone reads this, i will have already done everything but tell me this, was i right to do it. My resoning for telling thomas is this. I think it would be easier to hear it from someone like me, who is caring and sensitive, than to hear it from some idiot bigot.
