Hey guys. I'm new, so I haven;t had the chance to put up a pic yet, but I will. I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to meet people (without the Internet). I'm only 13, and there's no way my mom's taking me to a gay bar. Personally, I'm kind of sad becuz I want to get into a relationship, but I don't have any connections, and I'm not open at school, so you can pretty much abandon all hope of finding someone there. Plus, no youth groups in town. I know I sound whiney, but I'm trying to figure this out.

i was exactly the same as you at school, if you're looking for a relationship i dont thing you'd get very far in a gay bar anyway, most of the guys are much older and mainly want sex,, and it can be quite a dangerous place to go at such a young age. if you look on google or something for a gay yuoth group in your area there may be one, we're lucky enough to have one liverpool (i've never ben though, i live right on the outskirts) anyway...
the internet is the only place you're going to find guys right now, its not a bad place, just make sure you get to know a guy throughly first,a d dont look too hard - true love is like a butterfly, if you chase it it will fly away from you, but if you get on with your life quietly it will come to you of it's own accord.

Hey dude, I was like you when I wasnt out at skewl, I do agree with the other reply though, at the minute your best bet is the internet. I know its not ideal but it can work. I cannot stress to you how important it is to be safe though, talk for at least a month before you meet them, meet them in a very public place, Do not go for anyone much older than you and make sure somebody, anybody you know, knows where your going. i speak from personal experience and as i say it is of utmost important that you are careful, especially at age 13. Dont let your gaurd down, and be safe. At the same time enjoy it, not everybody out there are weirdo's so find someone and talk to them, get to know somebody. Im sure you'll be fine!! Good Luck!

i defo understand ur predicament. all ur friends are all getting boy/girlfriends and u feel well left out. all i can say is be patient! i know its not wot you want to hear, but its the truth.

i dnt know wot else to say and im jus typing madness but jus w8 and it'll happen. and i persoanlly wouldnt trust the internet but it is ur decision after all but make sure ur safe and smart about this

I feel for ya. I was in that situation and only when I moved from my country town to the city did I open up my options. Hold fast, but if you get desperate try chatting on the net not just to meet someone but just have someone to chat to. You'll be surprised at how satisfying talking to a gay guy who knows you're gay is when you don't have to risk coming out.
