What XxdarkxsmilexX said is probably the best advice I've read so far, but I want to add something: you also need to get good nutrition. I can say from personal experience that if you get good nutrition, then the whole process will be easier and go alot faster . I'd highly reccomend getting some form of spirulina in your diet. Spirulina is an algae that's considered a "super food". It has all the essential amino acids, 65% digestible protien (meat only has 18%), has alot of protien, has a crap load of vitamins and minerals (including vitamin B12 and B6, which us vegies need ), has a ton of antioxidants, and is vegan because it's a plant .

Getting a toned body takes more than just working your muscles. You have to get rid of that fat that's covering them for them to show. I suggest going running every day. If you're an experienced runner, go for about 30 minutes. If you're not, go for about 10 to 15. Also, the fact that you're a vegetarian is also an obstacle; it can be overcome, though. You can get protein from other sources, as well, like nuts. Check out www.mypyramid.gov for suggestions. I'm trying to get a toned look, as well. Here's my daily workout:

5 sets of 30 push-ups
5 sets of 30 crunches
5 sets of 30 bicycles
5 sets of 30 scissors
2-minute plank
30-minute run

Personally i have found that just cutting out oily fatty foods and got on my bike a little more helped a treat
instead of walking somewhere or getting a lift, grab your bike and go. when your tired, push yourself a little harder and further but be careful not to over do it, but i'm not saying take it easy either. grab a friend or two and have races and compete as this will be extra motivation to help push yourself further. Worked for me

Why not just be happy with the way you are?

I mean, that's teh way everyone should feel. Not have suffer from feelings of inadequecy because they aren't like everyone else. Everyone is different in many ways, so don't try and change yourself; you're perfect just the way you are



But in any case it's your choice, I just offer some morality
