so i have a major crush on my best friend and she knows that i like her a lot and she is still okay with it, but told me that she is straight. but the thing is ever since i told her that i was gay, i have been really concious about simple things like hugging her or putting my arm around her... stuff like that. i am afraid that now that she knows that she'll think that i am hitting on her (which i kind of am but i don't always think of it in that way) even though i could touch her before without having to worry about anything. am i just being paraniod? advice would be great.

hehe Im kinda going through the same thing. Sometimes you wish you could just go back and never tell them ._. but if your best friend is truly your best friend then she still won't mind the things you do w/ her unless they get awkward. Your friend seems great though and I think she understands your intentions when you hug her and all that stuff. You just gotta convince yourself that what your doing is ok as well and sooner or later everything will be back to normal

To be honest, ur friend sounds great. But if ur really worried that ur friend might take ur physical contact as more than u intended it to be, then u should talk to her about it. The more u guys know about whats going on, the easier it will be for both of u, and u wouldnt get all paranoid wondering if she thinks this or that. Best of luck
