Have you ever made a gay joke to not look gay or to fit in?

Unfortunately yes, although in my defence I wasn't 100% sure I was gay at the time, and therefor I suppose wanted to convice myself I wasn't so I pretended to "be 1 of the lads" and tell sum joke's bout gays that I didn't find funny but thought wud distract people from the fact that I was gay

ive stopped using the word gay as an insult. i dont really understand wat a gay joke is, is it specifically targeting gays or what?

To answer your question.....before i came out.....i did a few times. For me....more important than that though is the number of times i would laugh, or make comments in support of jokes, after i heard them. One of the reasons i think i came out when i did...was because of this....in the locker room or whutever......i would &quot;support&quot; or join in on them....and i would go away feeling dirty.....the more it happend....the shittier i felt until i couldnt take it anymore and came out. This is such a great topic....and u have got me thinking.....someday....i think i may write a paper for school on it....thanks!!!!!

i can say i have...but not to make myself look straight, but because i found this one funny....and i feel if someone can make fun of you....there is always one person that can do it better....yourself...you know yourself better than anyone right...so i usually tell this one to get people to laugh and support ....whats the difference between myself and a nazi....oh about 45 degrees....and i just stick my arm up and then drop my wrist....gets friends and people to laugh and accept...makes conversations about the subject go alot smoother.

Yeah. Gay jokes are the best. I make them all the time. But there's a difference between a joke and malice.
