So I have been wrestling with the issue of telling my mom that I am gay. But any time I even get close to telling her she keeps mentioning how great I am doing, and how proud of me she is. Then whenever homosexuality comes up as a topic both my mom and my dad just start bashing it... hard. My dad I am not too concerned about telling cause I really dont care. But it hurts to hear those things from my Mom.
Just remember they're you're parents and they will love you no matter what.
Maybe you should consider waiting to come out to them until you are more independent, as in have moved out of home, gotten a job etc and are less dependant on them.
