... and I feel so good! I wasn't planning on telling her until I was at least in college or something, but I just got really emotional yesterday and it came out. She just hugged me and gave me the best mother/daughter talk. Basically all she said was "At least I never have to worry about you getting pregnant". Haha, that's always her way with dealing with things.

I feel like I got really lucky, though, with having such an accepting Mom. My Dad on the other hand... that's for another day. I wish the best of luck to anyone else who's considering telling a parent, though. Sure, it's tough, but in the long run I think it's worth it for most. congratulations! its always hard coming out, and i too came out at a time where i got super emotional on my mom. my mom told my dad right away when he got home tho but good luck! one down, it gets easier each time.

My parents are gay aswell so they couldnt rreally exactly turn round and be anti gay not that they would anyway.............

Awww CONGRADULATIONS. At least your mother looked at it on the funny side. (Not that there is a comical side to being gay, but you get what I'm saying.)
