before you start panicing, thinking you've somehow missed the release of this game, and decide to leg it to the local game shop to try to frantically tear away at the shelves of the PC section trying to find a box, displaying the traditional green diamond, don't.

The game is set to release next year, but I'm gonna keep all of you sims fans updated with any news I hear about it.

Untill then, I still need the seasons expantion pack

I had the hot date expansion pack and another one, I guess that was for the first version of the game, but I never got too much into it, the novelty wore off fast after I'd killed a few people i the swimming pool.

I just looked on wikipedia, and by the looks of the screen shots, your going to need one hell of a graphics card to run it. Just like every other game these days, it looks very graphics and processor intensive.

I pretty much boycotted anything to do with the Sims after they released their third expansion pack, so i'm still on the first sims and the first two expansions.

The Sims 3 looks promising though, i'll prolly get it, so long as they don't do the whole "leaving out content in order to put them in EP's later on" thing too much.
