Technically my favs are romanticist not classical but I love Rachmaninoff, Sibelius, Chopin, and Debussy.

Out of the classical era I love Beethoven, Mozart, and Burgmuller. You can never go wrong. Haydn is not bad either.

I agree. Baroque isn't my favorite, but some of it is very good. I forgot to mention Kuhlau and Clementi too!

I agree with the posters above me; baroque doesn't really do it for me. Almost too organized or something. Hard to explain.

There was this brahms clarinet thing I played a while back that I can't remember the name of that I like quite a bit. I might go look for it sometime.

vivaldi's four seasons (summer's my favorite)
stravinsky's rite of spring
mozart's marriage of figaro overture
and pretty much anything baroque.

and being a bassoonist, i love anything that features the bassoon - my favorites being von Weber's Andante e Rondo Ungarese for bassoon & orchestra, Osbourne rhapsody for solo bassoon, and Mozart's bassoon concerto in Bb major.
