one thing that has always made me insecure about myself is tat fact that wherever we go outside we are surrounded by cameras, store cameras, cctv cameras etc and te thing is we dont know who on earth is watching us and that scares me that any1 could be watching ur every move
its just like fecking big brother tbh and like i said b4 any1 could be watching on these cctv cams and can be using it 4 their own purposes or even the government could be using them for reasons of their own which slightly disturbs me!
i mean nobody ever checks to see whether old cam films are actually recycled or destroyed wen they are meant to
just sumthing for u guys to think about!
i know i sound paranoid here but if u think about it, its true altough i i do understand cameras can also be used for safety and criminal incident prevention!

the government would never be so obvious if they were spying on us...if u want to be paranoid, how do you know that the alarm clock on ur bedside table doesn't have imagery devices detecting your terrorist activities?

Oh you lot are just being so general.. if you wanna get to the nitty gritty of it try this scenario: You know those loyalty cards you join up with. Well they could have a record of everything that you've bought from the supermarket, including if you bought some butter. If you bought an amount over a certain limit, and then needed a heart bypass, the government might not let you have the surgery because it would cost more... all because you bought one tub of butter too much.

But, meh... those cards give you bonuses!

i agree that there are to many cameras in the uk
but where i live (northampton) in the town centre witch is 3/4 mile by 3/4 mile there are 673 police owned cameras!!! and there the ones that they admit to!!!
just to releve any stress please read the following facts

--- normal shop systems record onto one tape all the cameras multiplexed so it is really low quality
--- many systems only keep tapes for 31 days then record over the tape from 31 days ago so you will hardly ever be on tape for more than 31 days
---if the system is digital it will be low quality too

but

---there is no law about who can view the tapes
---there is no law about distroying them too

in sum ways i can agree cus i waz anging round this train station @ bout 11 pm n the cameras lways followed us even though noone waz in the booth to control them
But if they really were watching us id have been arrested for late nite prowling i.e riding my bike to places at bout 2:30 in the morning with no brakes and no helmut and no flouresent jacket and no lites shit im bad

This maybe totally random, and you can tell me if it is but actually I had an experience with a creepy camera watcher. I was working for a local coffee shop, we had like an avarage of 30 customers an hour, and meanwhile we served them our manager would watch the cams, and keep pics of any good looking girls that came into the store, he would also print them off or make them into his wall paper. It was pretty disturbing. He did get reported tho, after some investigation he got off with a slap on the wrist. So ya, I definately always think of who maybe watching. Cause like the qoute goes "A camera is useless without someone at the each end"
