Eurovision Song Contest 2008 3 Months, 1 Week ago  
Anyone watched it?

I don't know how many europeans we have on here.

My top five entries were:
1) Israel
2) Finland
3) Armenia
4) Russia
5) Ukraine

Apparently I voted for the israeli song

I only watch it for Terry Wogan's commentary. The competition itself is awful... not that it's actually got anything to do with music anyway.

I saw a bit where they got the first ever winner on the show, and I just thought "what must she be thinking"... it looked quite good, quite true to music, and now it's just a terrible waste of a competition. Done properly you could have some very good bands playing with tickets really being sought after, but it's just a terrible show right now.

The guy from russia was cute though.

They broadcasted it here in Australia and I loved it! First time I've watched it, and I think it's funny as =D
We got the commentary from an English guy and he was hilarious; the music was funny too (Greece - lol "my secret combination" - I don't really want to know, thanks for the offer). My favourite was probably Sweden (Hero) cuz the artist was so plastic! Watching her was oddly intriguing.
