Im in Grade 9 piano and i love it too death... just not the theory stuff u have to take

So I guess you could say I am a freelance pianist.

I've been playing mallet percussion through our school's band program for seven years. I can read the treble cleff music [but not bass =(]; "Everytime We Touch - Cascada" is my pride and joy on the piano, lol. I can rock that song ... and then it's just randomness here and there. I can play the dance of the sugarplum fairies from The Nutcracker, Clocks by Coldplay, Lean on Me, just random stuff.

I play piano like my friend plays guitar ... we see a song we like, he looks up tabs, I look up notes, we put it all together, it's pretty fun!

but im really bad
never really had lessons, self taught, and had help.
i.e. from dad and sis.
the only other help i had was from school 'music lessons'.
one thing i regret not taking for GCSE's is music.. T--T but you know, you cant turn back time.

urmms the most recent thing ive been trying to learn is
sadness and sorrow from naruto series.
T-----T im so proud! i can play 2 hands and the whole of the begining lol...

Well I'm not a hardcore pianist, I'm just hardcore. haha
The only song I could play is the tune to Mary Had A Little Lamb.
Cuz it only takes like 4 keys.

too many favourite things to play, but I absolutely love Ondine from Gaspard de la Nuit; it has one of the most amazing climaxes ive ever heard in a piano piece <3

I used to play when I was younger, but I'm not really that good at making music, so I stopped a while ago.

I could probably play the very first 3 note song I learnt still. Lasts all of about 7 seconds.

I love playing the piano! One of the first pieces I learned was "Anytime" by Kelly Clarkson. I have a really nice keyboard right now... weighted keys and touch sensitive so it has a really great feel for a keyboard. but i am looking into buying a baby grand. I am really comitted to bettering myself as a pianist so I think it will be worth it.

I took lessons for about 6 years back in 5th grade. Now I play it casually, and use it to write my own music.
