I have a friend who has been my friend since about 4 years ago whenever we were both about 13. About 14 we started doing "stuff", but it wasn't a big deal at all....and we were still normal friends, and the extra "stuff" didn't effect our friendship at all.
Well, I came mostly out whenever I was 16....and it was about that time that things started getting bad. He is a preachers kid (uh oh), so he FOR SURE doesn't want anyone to find out.
Things get even worse whenever he starts talking about me behind my back. He has been going to all of my other friends and telling them "I wish he wasn't bi." and "He's going to hell.", etc. Well, this pisses my other friends off because nobody usually ever talks bad about me...I don't ever do anything wrong to anyone...
The bad part of it is he STILL comes over to my house and begs to do stuff....and slowly it just makes me more and more upset. He is STILL talking behind my back, and I STILL haven't done anything bad back to him just because that's not me...in fact, I'm even still nice to this guy for some reason -_-. He makes fun of my hair (which everyone else loves), my style, and anything about me he can.
I can almost promise you that I am going to end up hitting him very soon.....and it'll be a fight he will regret.
Please, please....anyone comment? I'm so effing p.o.'d right now...

Okay it's a kinda bad situation !
It's strange but it's the kind of situations that never happened to me !
I guess you should talk to him and tell him the exactly same stuff that you told us ! But if you can, just avoid the fight !

How long ago was this outting? He may just be handling it bad. It sounds like he still wants to be your friend, but I think he doesn't really know how to go about the situation.

Maybe some gentle coaching? Or just telling him straight, 'I'm just another friend' (if that is so).

Still, pretty funny. You banged a preacher's son? LOL That's a worthwhile sermon.

I'd sit him down and explain that there's no one universal voice for any religion, and then point out all the alternative veiws of the Bible (look them up). Then explain that he's been really mean, and that he should either grow up or push off.

..If he knows that you are bi, and still asks to do stuff (but thinks that all non-straight people are going to hell)..then he is really umm weird. So anyways, Tell him that you don't want to do stuff, I would probably tell him that you dont want him talking badly about you..or something like that..too.

I came 'mostly' "out" about 1.5 years ago....so he's had plenty of time to "handle". And trust me, I've tried telling him "I don't want to do stuff with you anymore b/c of how you react..." but he doesn't accept that for some reason...

Actually, I'm more gay now than bi....and he knows that. He is strange, and I've told him not to talk bad about me behind my back....(as well as my other friends getting pissed at him)....but he is the type of person who always runs his mouth about everybody and anything because he hasn't been shown the consequences of it yet. He's 18, I'm 17...and he is the scrawniest guy alive...

ugh....maybe I'll just try talking to him one more time? *sigh*

In my experiance of bible bashers and the spawn of the loins... there is no point trying to reason with them. That you have tried shows what a bloody brilliant person you are. The he is still being a twat shows... well shows more then i need to say reli. Youve been nice... give him a shiner (black eye) from me.

You sound exactly like me. Too nice for your own good, people walk all over me for it, because i'm so fooled by everyone. And then they'll do something i hate, take the piss big time, and i'll think, that's it, i've had enough, they can get lost. But still, i let them straight back into my life and ignore it!! I'm far too bloody innocent, i don't drink, smoke, etc... Everyone i know does, and it's like, ahhhhh, i don't wanna drink, but i wanna be able to go out like everyone else does. I haven't came out to anyone yet, so it's really hard, people asking awkward questions, tryna set me up. Anyway, yeah, back to you, tell him to stop being such a bitch.
