whats your opinion on all this on tv about gay marriage, it is really gettin on my nerves, some man was on there talking about it was a sin, and we can choose not to be this way and all that, it was getting on my nerves, im jus curious

I dont follow TV, but I could honestly not care less - let the weirdoes spend their time saying whatever they want, they have the right to. I'm gonna live my life my way, TV people be damned!

deos is exactly right.
people are always going to have their opinions on these things, and for some people gay marriage is just something that they will never be able to accept.
we can try to convince them all we want, but espcially amongst the more religious and conservative members of society, homosexuality will never ever be acceptable.
all we can really do is make sure that the world is passed into the hands of open minded individuals who stand for modern, progressive and humanitarian ideals - that is something we have to ensure not just for the good of us gays, but for the good of the whole world.
personally i believe that gays should definately be entitled to marriage, it's the love that counts, not the sex of those involved.

People complain about everything, it's a fundemental Western right these days. Let them complain, but I think that they know their days are numbered. Once that generation leave this Earth, the younger, more liberal generation will take over and things will be much better.

well what bothers me more, is some people in my family feel that way, my parents feel that way if you ask them, though they never have mentioned it, jus they agree when they see it on the news, this is why i have not told them, and my aunt, who (i dont get this) goes to a church where it is preached that it is evil and unforgivable etc.... says she doesnt care, so i am not sure about her, so it bothers me people in my family are like that, which once again, is why i have not told them, but yeah, i never realized that, about the whole generation thing, i guess thats true, i guess jus wiat and see what happens, i jus cant get over my family members feeling that way, kinda scares me really

Thats too bad dude. I know how you feel, my dad and aunt are like that. But at least I knew what to expect when I told 'em. Nothing really you can do...

Yeah, I saw that post - I hit people like that, who try to impart their views on others. Seriously, I go up to them and WHAP, upside the head. Most people stop. Then there are the ones who start fighting, and I have to kick their asses...

Anyway, you can just tell your parents - that'll either shut em up, or they'll never shut up...

Oh - you could tell ur parents you dont appreciate them talking about homosexuals, like ur friend, like that, and see what happens...
