So has anyone seen the martial arts Capoeira? I'm gonna be taking it soon after I finish with my Krav Maga classes. It's a Brazilian martial arts. I'm soooo excited!! I saw it when I was like 13 and fell in love with it! Has anybody taken it/doing it?
I dont do it BUT if you buy a game called Tekken(Tekken 3-5 not 1-2) there is some characters Eddie Gordo, Christie Monteairo, and Tiger who do it. It seems really cool, its a fighting style isnt it?
Yeah it's an actual fighting style. It was developed by African slaves in Brazil who didn't want people to find out that they were making a martial arts so they incorporated a dance in with the fight as well to confuse people. I just love it. It's so beautiful to watch!
I love Nina and her long legs, rubbish at the game though, either I use her long kicks, high kicks, low kicks or I just bash away at the buttons.
but on the subject of capoeira, my friend does it, she goes and showcases it to other youths back in Singapore to open their world to possibilities. v. cool to watch.
In Tekken Tag if you pick Nina and Paul to fight together and you loose, when the count down comes on Nina will kick Paul in the balls with them 'long legs' lol.
