Are the americans fitter than the English?

I don't mean to cuss us English nor say our British members are disgusting but it would be interesting to hear your views...

America does have it's fair share of hot but so do we; Orlando Bloom, Will young, Jude Law to name a few...

So What do we think?..

much as i would love to say that us brits are infinitely more attractive in comparison to those colonial types, i fear that our gene pool is far less diverse than that of americas due to its immigration (nothing like a bit of latino) and that inbreeding is rampant in say the fens and most inner city areas.

hmmm. gta say i agree! the americans just tend to have that "healthy" look to em with the perfect teeth and skin. in general id say its because they take more pride in their appearance, loadsa the guys here dont seem to make an effort to work out or just take care of their appearances. plus, abercrombie.... hott!

thats so true...the american offering of men does seem to beat ours hands down...but then again does depend on type...

so if we compare the two archetypes of men...probs abercrombie models from america and what...our oxford/cambridge graduates...hummm...

In general, american guys are hotter. Ive no idea why *side-note* damn ye but English guys are hot too. Plus is debatable that their smarter too. Guess is depends on what you looking for Geof

Why you would want American guys is beyond me...
To a degree, we're pretty good. You have the preps which have to be fit. The jocks, which are mostly fit, but then again you have linemen The punks, unless extreme are adorable, like spiky kittens.

Umm... we have the brains, which are not the dorky stereotypes that you may see in the movies. In fact, they're swell

But my preference lies in the British look, alot of us look to them for how to look.

Are we talking about Americans (everyone from the hills of North Dakota to the depths of Louisiana) or Americans (middle-class teenagers who are trendy and most probably the spitting image of an extra from The O.C.)???

I reckon, as much as people will want to disagree with me on this one, that we all have a common stereotype of 'The American Kid'. From my experience, that place is FULL of young guys who look as varied and anti-climactically normal as most of us do. The 'Americans' we see most of the time on TV are flattering creations of Holywood (and I have no probs with that, most of them are PERRRITY DAMN PHYNE). Unless you've been to every state or you're a Real American and know the real deal, we're gonna continue believing in that 'Healthy', 'Tanned' 'Straight Teethed' paragon of humanity that is The American Kid *cue Anthem*

I aint American (my dad is but I was born and raised on the mean streets a' Landan mate) and I TOTALLY like to believe in the stereotype. HOWEVER, it's my very personal view that most American guys on a whole have bad manners and can't dress properly. It's all about the UK on that front. BUT, I reckon British guys have a complicated, opinionated, Know-More-Than-You attitude that makes American guys far more attractive in their sunkissed, prom-going, skate boarding simplicity.

Therefore, I've managed to ramble a helluva lot about stuff and not actually make a straightforward opinion. Yeah, I'm definately British.
