Before I start, I'd like to mention a show called "bare". If you don't know anything about it, go look it up. I think the website is
http://www.barethemusical.com
It deals a lot with homosexuality and the church, and is amazing.
Anyway, with that said...
I am a Christian. I come to the conclusion that God loves me. I know that most people in the world (including my mother...) think it's a choice and learned behavior, but I HAVE to believe that God made me the way I am.
The Bible makes it clear that God creates what he creates for a reason. Here are a few Bible verses, for those who are interested...:
Romans 9:20
But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?'
Isaiah 45: 9-12
9 "Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker,
to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
'What are you making?'
Does your work say,
'He has no hands'?
10 Woe to him who says to his father,
'What have you made?'
or to his mother,
'What have you given birth to?'
11 "This is what the LORD says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands?
12 It is I who made the earth
and created mankind upon it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens;
I marshaled their starry hosts.
Isaiah 29:16
You turn things upside down,
as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
Shall what is formed say to him who formed it,
"He did not make me"?
Can the pot say of the potter,
"He knows nothing"?
Job Chpt. 10:2-9
2 I will say to God: Do not condemn me,
but tell me what charges you have against me.
3 Does it please you to oppress me,
to spurn the work of your hands,
while you smile on the schemes of the wicked?
4 Do you have eyes of flesh?
Do you see as a mortal sees?
5 Are your days like those of a mortal
or your years like those of a man,
6 that you must search out my faults
and probe after my sin-
7 though you know that I am not guilty
and that no one can rescue me from your hand?
8 "Your hands shaped me and made me.
Will you now turn and destroy me?
9 Remember that you molded me like clay.
Will you now turn me to dust again?
Anyway... I could go on to write a book on the justification of homosexuality with God, but I don't know that anyone would read it. lol.
So, why don't you do your own research?
here's an interesting perspective to get you started:
