i go to church often. i go to my youth-group often.... i go to bed with my boyfriend often.. i kiss him often...
i am NOT OUT YET,,,!!!!! what would happen if i was out..>???? totally out..!!
my youth-group leaders say i am a good christian...!!! what would they say after i tell EVERYONE that i am GAY..??!!!
i think it will be HARD...
and i think they won't be calling me "A GOOD CHRISTIAN" anymore..!!!

i think your relationship with God shouldn't be determined by your church.
Your church can't just turn around and say, "God hates gays". Ok, maybe they will. But don't take it to heart. If you believe God loves you, and you love Him, then anything anyone else says to that shouldn't matter.

It really makes me sick when religions/"religious" people condemn us gays for being gay . I'm not a Christian, I'm a Zen Buddhist, but I used to be a Christian. From a Buddhist prospective, I'd say that it absolutely makes no difference what anyone labels you as. They're just labels. If you're mentally attatched to what people label you as, then that can create a living hell for you. Just don't become attacthed to what anyone says about you . If you really want to be a "good Christian", then you might think about forgiving those who hate and don't accept you.

i am feeling the same way. my dad is a minister adn when i came out, him and my mom told me that all gays are going to hell. i mean i am a good person but just b/c i am gay does that mean i am going to hell. i am so confused.

It seems like for gays, their hell is sometimes on Earth itself, before death, because they have to live through all the discrimination and shunning even from church.

The church is supposed to be the body of God, not God's authority on Earth so what they say about your sexuality shouldn't matter to you. If they say that God hates gays you should know they're wrong because you would know that God hates nobody.

First off, you are probably well aware that God already knows that you are Gay. But, now the question comes to whether or not you have told God that you are Gay. I recently told God that i am gay. I haven't been struck down yet. I beleive that since i have told God that i am gay, i have a closer relationship with him. God is amazing! God still loves you and will always love you. "no one can measure the depths of his understanding.." quote from the Bible not sure where from but it is in there. God loves you and as long as you haven't told Him to get away from your life, i believe, you will still get to go to heaven. Always remeber that no matter how dark a tunnel may seem there is always a light at the end of it( i just made that up, pretty deep huh)

Next time you have sex, pray in the middle of it. If you can do that shamelessly, then you're not only a good Christian (despite what others say), but also a non-conflicted Christian.

If you can't do it, however, then you do have some priorities to work out.

I would say not to listen to any religious fanatics. You don't have to go to Church to be a good Christian. Love God, love Christ, love thy neighbour and love thine enemy. Do this and you will be a better Christian than the Pope himself.

The only mention of homosexuality in the Bible (from what I've read and know - correct me if I'm wrong) are from other people, not Jesus. Jesus never taught on homosexuality, he didn't even acknowledge it. What does this tell us? It tells us that he never considered it an issue. He never felt he needed to. It stands to reason then that we can assume he thought it normal.

I can guarantee you that gay people - assuming they live good, moral lives - will not go to hell. Hell, I have read described, is place where no one has anything in common with anyone else except their utter loathing for one another and this comes from their self-hatred, the belief that no one could possibly love them because of the horrible people they perceived themselves to be. Hell is a state of mind.

It will be these homophobic people that run the churches that will go to hell. Their hatred of us, stemming from their own self-hatred and insecurities, will ensure it happens.

Remember, live your lives well, love thy neighbour, love thine enemy and forgive those who wrong you. Do this and salvation shall be yours.

my church is quit accepting, i am blessed in that, but;
ponder this


1) does god and only god have the power to create life?
2) did he create us the way he wanted us? wouldnt he have simply made us diferent otherwise?
3) my god wood not say "i made u ect in my image, now ur goin to helll for how i made u", becuase that doesnt make sence and my god is logical
4) why are there gays though? god works in mystrious ways, but one theroy i that look at the human population, we are too big!!
the bible was written 2000 yrs ago, i can find quotes comending slavery, i hope that in 2000 yrs we have become more civilised...

Now days most Christan denominations agree that God sees all sin equally, and those sins are washed away by Christ's sacrifice. So, according to the religion, the unChristian homosexual will be going to hell just as any other unChristian sinner, while the forgiven Christan homosexual will go to Heaven, just as the forgiven Christian sinner is.

I hope that makes sense. haha.

And another thing, I believe in the Bible it says that if one judges another, they will be judged by God as the same. For example: If a Christian judges a homosexual, then God will judge the Christan as a homosexual. But like I said, in God's eyes all sin is equal, so it really doesn't matter what sin one is judged for.
