I love(d) Evanescence. I feel that Amy Lee (the lead singer and songwrigher)'s lyrics were excellent. Abstract--yet full of imagery and mood. They're releasing their new album this fall! YEAH!

It is kindda funny how I came across this topic just when I started to listen to them again. I have to say that I love her songs. They give this feeling of understanding to real problems and life issues...unlike bands like...Simple plan...ew...I love her songs Missing and Hello the most.

has anyone else heard their early stuff? they had two cd's out before Fallen (Orgin and Whisper) demos that sold out entirely the first night of release. i like their earlier stuff a lot, it's more raw, Fallen sounds a little too..synthesized?? i don't know why, but i don't quiet appreciate them as much as an entire band..i just love amy's singing and lyrics^^ not to mention her beauty *i would kill for her looks!*

I LOVE Evanescence. Amy Lee is the reason I'm a 5, not a 6, on the Kinsey Scale. Ooh, it's a great way to decompress when I'm feelin down, I just listen to some Ev and I'm taken away.

Ok, I love Amy's voice, but the rest of the band is rather weak.
Bring Me to Life, and Tourniquet are awesome songs tho.
