I just started to panic and was like "Okay, so what do we do now?" He said he wouldn't like to take any chances and began to prep me for theater. I was so spaced out.

It went away, but they never did realize what exactly it was, which kinda creeps me out. I've had to visit many doctors, 90% of them male, thank God, who also needed to examine me. It's best to swallow your pride and do it, rather than risk having an unchecked tumor or something... Registered 30-10-2007 23:31 27-08-2007 22:06 12-08-2007 14:15 yh once my right testical was red and swollen. i first saw this on thursday. it began to really hurt so by monday night i finally told my mum. she phoned up the local doctors for an appointment. yes he had to examine it and i was a bit emmbarassed but hey. he then told me its pobably a torsion of the testicle and only needs six hours before the testicle dies. i was really panicing now considering it started from thursday.he said an opperation had to be done to make it right. so we hurried down to the hospital where a futher 3 people examined it. then an hour later the surgeon says its a infected cyst which needs to b removed or it could spread to the other. an hour later im sent to theatre, anisthetic etc, hour later op over and im asleep in the hospital wing. next day im home feeling sore but at least i didnt lose my precious testicles  although it might have bin embarasing at the time it was better off telling someone. Guys, I know you hear about it ALL the time, believe me I get sick of it but I just thought it'd be pretty important to higlight the risks of testicular problems.

I was out from theater at about 3am, apparently I had woken up from the anaesthetic and ripped the needle outta my arm and then dropped to sleep again 
I was lucky, it was only an inflammation. They removed the appendix of my left testicle (?) and stitched it so it wouldn't twist. Thank God no orchidectomy was needed, but it was better to get it checked out. My dad said, if it was him I'd told about the pain, he would've sent me to bed with some paracetamol and rang the doctors in the morning. By then I may have been mono-ball
