 Once you've found out there are gay people out there, and plenty of them at that, you might well wonder: what do they actually do? What is gay sex?In a nutshell, it's any sort of sexual activity between two members of the same sex. Obviously, this can be unconventional: the combinations are not quite the same. Instead of a penis and vagina, there are two penises or two vaginas. Well, reproduction is not going to happen, but there are plenty of things gay people can do together to express their love and feel pleasure. Is gay sex the same as anal sex? A lot of gay men - though not most - enjoy having anal sex. This is when one partner inserts his penis into the other's anus. This might seem an odd thing to be doing, and some people find the whole idea unpleasant or 'dirty'. You don't have to have anal sex just because you're gay - though many straight people do it too - but if you'd like to try, it can be very pleasurable. If you do, use a condom and lots of water-based or silicone-based lubricants - never oil or baby oil, which destroy condoms. Where does the pleasure come from?A lot of the pleasure from anal sex comes just from the feeling of being with your lover. Anal sex can cause the anal muscles to loose their flexibility and can basically form a wide open, never closing hole where the anus is. This results in more diarrhea and other issues. Also, if performing anal sex without a condom, your odds of getting an STD are twice that of penis-vaginal sex. If you can, it IS best to avoid anal sex... But if it\\\'s your thing, enjoy!
