Well at least you havn't put me to sleep in a long time, but i suspect you'll one of these people who get a nobel prize or pullitzer lol.
Created On: 21/03/08 21:30:33 Hey thanks! I've noticed you on the boards quite a few times. That picture was incredibly fun to take ... my friend owns the top hat though. Usually I get told I can't pull off a hat, lol.
Created On: 07/03/08 00:19:26 Thank you for your advice Kanae. You're probably right in that I should have followed my intuition and just told him then and there-perhaps the last four years would have been a lot better if I had. You're also right in that I have little to lose if he reacts adversely to my telling him, although I do plan to take things slowly, first by rekindling the relationship, and telling him later. Befriending him again really does raise the emotional stakes, for both of us, but I think it's the most tactful and reasonable way of going about it. As far as blocking him out of my mind goes, I've tried that for over 2 years to little avail. I just love nearly everything about him-the few elements of his personality that I don't particularly care for are all elements which I see in myself (namely shyness), so I don't hold anything against him. He's everything I've ever wanted-and is, in every respect, a guy who I can see myself being happy with for a long time.
I know that everything isn't meant to be approached in a rational manner (although rationality is what I feel most comfortable with, because I can generally predict the outcome-in short, it's just safer, but greater risks yield greater rewards)-I've gone over that so many times in my personal writings, we even discuss it in TOK class, but I've rarely allowed myself to surrender to my feelings (whenever I have, I've always landed myself in serious trouble lol). Anyway, thanks for your response, it is greatly appreciated!
Created On: 05/03/08 02:31:10 History, that was always my best subject. The one class where all I had to do to get ace scores was test. I thought about doing it for a major, but not enough opportunities around here for that sort so I decided to go the psych/philosophy major/minor or dual major. What are most of your subjects? I admit my ignorance as I have never heard of the International Baccaluraite. >.> I imagine any sort of essay would be no trouble for yourself, so no surprise there.

Created On: 03/03/08 12:39:39 I think common sense may be inaccurately titled, for reasons I'm sure you are well acquainted with. But be that as it may, I try to give the illusion of intelligence and mental stability if not for my sake than to impart confidence and perhaps a glimpse of understanding to others. I suppose we share some of that judging by posts. You seem rather refined in a sense. Certainly better dressed than most people. I assume this is a conscious decision on your part? Wish I could pass that off, but I'm more akin to Palachinov in that respect... Anyway, good... whatever time of day it is there. I haven't a clue, since I've been up for 23 hours.

Similar things have often happened to me in some of my earlier slash writings. What I do in that instant, is stop thinking about myself. I try as hard as I can to delve into the mind of the character. I begin thinking like them, not like my self, and they make decisions on how my persona dictates. That may sound a bit creepy. Lol. I have a lot of free time.
Renaissance??? Well I just so happen to be a royal member of a renaissance guild. Haha.
Created On: 28/02/08 06:19:21 Yes, I suppose your facial structure does pose a problem when dressing as a woman.
Concerning your difficulties with writing, however, I would suggest character profiles. Write out a lengthy profile just talking about that person. Give them flaws...after all, they are human. I find those extremely helpful when inventing a person on paper.
