I'm afraid the fires were near my town  The good news is that the greek forests are gradually recovering from the summer fires  Anyways, I wish you merry christmas (and a happy new year, just in case we do not talk before the 1st of january)

cool, french and german ive had on school aswell, spanish is something I still want to learn tho..but when :-| I got no time anymore to learn languages really, lucky you can still can! 
I would love to learn countries cultures/history sometime aswell, there is a study for that on my uni (+languages) but I dont know yet if I can combine it with my current study
If dutch is interesting.. I dont know :-| Its different then those other languages in the way you make sentences etc
I live on the eastern part of the Netherlands (De Nederlanden  ) close to arnhem/nijmegen, perhaps you know it, there is a war movie which takes place there)

What languages do you speak? I wish to learn some more, from further away then just those countries surrounding the Netherlands..perhaps one day
