me and giving blood

next year in my skool i'll be old enought to give blood and i want to but the law says i cant, because i am gay and i have had sex with men. i get testes regularly and im not positive, so i dont see the problem, i mean they check the blood anyway. this really makes me mad bc i wanna give blood but i dont wanna hide who i am, i can easily lie ont he questionaire but im uneasy about doing that... and i dont knwo what to do.  
 
the fact is HIV is more of a heterosexual disease now than homosexual. the fact is once aids epidemic broke out maybe it was more ocmmong among gays but not nemore we are being protected and beomcing aware n thats a big step up, and str8 pple dont think they can get it but they are ignorant to the fact and more of them are being reported having hiv...... this law totally sucks i mean the governemnt sucks
