Its a flaw of society, the way that people dismiss self-harm, untill its too late. and then they can't understand why it happened, when really they never bothered to listen when they had the chance. i have consoled myself many nights by thinking it was within my ability to make it all stop. The whole additional strain of being different which no one needs.
