I don't self harm. I used to think about taking it one step further and just ending it all when I was first coming to terms with being Gay and all. It's so hard, and nobody wants to help you, they all feel like you deserve all the wrongs you experience. It's a shame. Luckily, I never turned to it, but I definitely understand when people talk about doing it, or do it. I can understand what drives them to that point, and I make it my business to help them, to talk them through anything, to be there, and to tell them that it's not okay. Right now, I only know two people that cut. I hope I'm doing a good job helping them along, and let me tell you they're not the pale skinned emo kids, they're 'normal'. I just really wish this wasn't the problem that it is, but I know as much as I wish that, wishes won't make it reality, so I help, and I urge everyone who reads this to do the same. It's corny, and you've heard it a thousand times, but letting someone know that you honestly care about them, is like God reaching out to them and taking an interest. Be that person.
