Meeting People off the Internet

Being gay, I sometimes feel that I am totally alone because I know no other gay people.. infact i have never even met any to my knowledge. The internet is a great facility because you can meet other people who you can talk to and understand you.. I think that it is a good thing to meet up with people that you meet online. OK, the internet isn't perfect.. but most people are just looking for love or friendships and there is nothing wrong with that.
