i live in a small town in northern Pennsylvania. I find that it's really very difficult to be gay, lesbian, or bisexual here, because its not something that we are brought up to accept. There are quite a few lesbian / bisexual girls here, but it seems to be more okay for a girl to be gay or bisexual, than a boy. The straight guys think two girls making out is hot, but when it comes to boys getting physical in any way, neither gender seems to accept it very well. There is one gay boy that goes to my school, but he either gets picked on a lot or is totally ignored because guys are afraid that he will like them. He is an extrememly open and feminine (flaming) gay person. A lot of other gay / bisexual guys (like me) are afraid to come out, because everyone at my school seems to think that all gay men are like him, and i dont want to be ridiculed. and at the same time, it is very difficult for me to find another guy because i dont know who they are because they are afraid to come out too... :sigh
