I know I wouldn't want to be called "queer" just because to me, that sounds as though they are saying you are weird, or completely different from them... 
 
I don't like people calling me "gay" either, not because I am not homosexual, but because my name is Logan, and that is what people should call me.  
 
Sexuality doesn't make you who you are, it simply helps you to find someone you will enjoy being with.. in one way or another...
