amsterdam = awesome

i've been to amsterdam 3 times, all with my parents (last time for my 15th birthday) and i have to say it is one of the most wonderful places out there, although i can't really speak for the gay scene there... (i'm youg and i was with my parents). But it's a great place and very welcoming. Also, daytime is more dangerous in the red light district, as we (after much weedling from me) walked only a block or two into the red light district and then out to a bar called Susie's Saloon, at 10 on a Sunday morning, we were very nearly mugged. It's a long story, but people work in pairs and corner tourists there, as in any big city, so be careful! But enjoy, cuz Amsterdam is AMAZING!
