i agree that it reinforced negative steriotypes (dykes on bikes, ect.) it seems to be that all it serves is the intrests of the religious right. they can look at gay pride parades and say we are all into bondage and promiscuity. i dont really see what it would possibley serve anymore. maybe 20 years ago but..
that being said, it is alot of fun to go too.
